Hi Peter We hope you enjoyed your stay over Thanksgiving, despite those 2 issues. The electronic door locks were installed because they provide our guests and owners with a higher level of security. They are also more convenient for our guests so you don't have to search for our office and wait in line to check out your key. You just get to go straight to your home to start enjoying your vacation. Our team is available 24/7 to assist with any issues, but our door locks are quite easy for anyone familiar with a touch screen cell phone. We totally understand how frustrating the new technology can be for those who are not familiar with it so we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced. Our team is always here to assist and we would certainly be happy to meet you out at the house in the future and let you in the good old fashion way. The snow you are referring to was the heaviest we have had in one night in many years (2 feet). Our team does plow the driveways and walkways prior to your arrival but unfortunately it just kept dumping leaving you with more snow to handle in the morning. Although we don't automatically come out to shovel once you have checked in, as most of our guests want their privacy, we are more than happy to come straight out upon request. We are here for you every step of the way so don't think you are ever bothering us by calling or emailing for assistance. Brad, Thank you for your feedback, it sounds like you all had a great time in Sunriver! I can honestly tell you that the thunderstorms are my favorite part of the summers here. I am glad that the property accommodated you and your family well, as our guests comfort is our main focus here at Bennington Properties.
